Price vs Quality

We live in a world where it’s easy and cheap to throw around words to sell a product, a company, or a process.  With the high amount of builders out there all wanting your business and with the number of quality builders shrinking, it’s important for you to know and understand what it means to get quality work done honestly.

You cannot only go off price.  Some people assume that if they pay a high price for the job that they are getting a better quality builder and a better quality constructed home.  There can be some truth to this but it is not a universal truth that works with every builder.  Yes, the more highly skilled and experienced builders will typically charge a little more than a new or less skilled builder and that’s justifiable.  However, a higher price does not always mean a better quality.

A lot of people say they want the best quality for the cheapest price in building their home.  Or they ask “How much will it cost me per square foot” long before any plan have been made.  Let’s start with the cheapest price.

Everyone wants to save money.  You can ask anyone you would like, would you rather save money or throw money away and everyone will say they would rather save money.  However, saying you want the best quality for the cheapest price is an oxymoron.  Everyone wants the best quality available at the price they can afford.  At Dart Frog we will give you just that, the best quality for the budget.  We will never try to cut corners or buy inferior product.  Every move we make and every item installed in your new home will be done with the highest level of integrity and the highest quality product will be used for your budget.  If you have a McDonalds budget you cannot expect a 5-star meal.  The same is true with almost everything, the budget will set the tone and Dart Frog will provide the best constructed house for that budget.

“How much do you charge per square foot?”  This is an impossible question to answer.  It would be like going to a car dealership and asking “How much does a truck cost per pound?”  What kind of truck is it?  Is it a Chevy or a Ford?  Does it have leather interior and heated seats?  Does it have a towing package?  What kind of amenities does the truck have?  The same is true with a new house, you cannot throw out a set price per square foot unless you know what you’re looking for and what is going to be built.  A higher quality constructed home with more luxurious amenities and details will cost more per square foot than a home with the bare-necessities.

Remember, choosing a construction company to build your home is a very different experience than buying a shirt or a new television.

Dart Frog LLC has been serving local communities for years, providing the customers with a great experience, with the highest quality, and the most qualified builders.  We will go above and beyond to ensure that you are getting the best quality product for the money and budget you have set out from the beginning.
